Electronics & Equipment Recycling

We can recycle most small electronics for free if batteries and bulbs have been removed. Specialty items such as TVs, monitors, and larger-size appliances do carry recycling charges to help cover the costs to recycle them safely and responsibly. See the sections below for an extensive listing of the numerous types of electronic devices we can recycle as well as their associated recycling costs, where applicable. While we do our best to maintain up to date pricing on our website, pricing may vary from the rates written below and is subject to change without notice. The sections below reflect recycling rates and types of materials accepted for materials dropped off at our main Madison or Appleton facilities. Not all of these materials are accepted for recycling at our electronics recycling events.

Electronics With Recycling Charges

Television & Monitor Recycling Fees

TVs or Monitors that are excessively curved or that are over 70″ may incur additional charges

Flat & Tube-Style TVs (29″ and Under):: $20 each
Flat & Tube-Style TVs (30″-49″):: $40 each
Flat & Tube-Style TVs (50″ and Over):: $60 each

Wood Console TVs (any size): $60 each
Projection TVs (any size): $60 each
Flat & Tube-Style Computer Monitors:: $20 each

Large Appliance Recycling Fees

Ovens/Stoves: $25 each
Dishwashers: $25 each
Clothes Washers/Dryers: $25 each
Grills: $25 each

Microwaves:: $15 each
Large Commercial Copiers/Printers:: $15 each
Treadmills/Ellipticals/Etc.: $25 each

Freon-Containing Appliance Recycling Fees

We unfortunately do not accept central air conditioning units for recycling. Full-size refrigerators and full-size freezers are unfortunately not accepted for recycling at our Appleton location.
